When interest rates spiked in 2023, to be candid: I froze. My confidence plummeted.
But with a family and an 8-figure portfolio on the line, I had no choice. Doing nothing was not an option. So I pushed past my paralysis and found a way through.

I’m Paul D’Abruzzo, and I’ve been managing real estate investment projects since 2009. Together with my wife Laura, we own and manage a growing $45 million portfolio of multi-unit residential, student rental and single-family assets across the Golden Horseshoe in Ontario, and in the past few years the “Gold Zone” communities of Ontario as well.
